We're all used to hearing strange news coming out of Florida, but I haven't read anything this heartwarming recently.
Eleanor Rigby, a Yellow Labrador that works as a service dog, gave birth to a litter of 8 puppies while waiting to board a flight with her owners out of Tampa International Airport.
Tampa's Fire Rescue medical team were called in to assist. The puppies' father Nugget was nearby.
Service animals are trained to assist people with disabilities, including guide dogs for the blind and hearing-impaired as well as for mental health and seizure alerts.
It would probably not be a surprise that the new family missed their flight to Philly. They drove instead.
