Nature is full of tiny miracles and one of the most amazing we've seen recently is the neon-blue waves that have touched down on the San Diego shoreline.
Brought by the harmful algae blooms, known colloquially as "red tides," where algae colonies bloom out of control and release clusters of dinoflagellates — microscopic organisms — that live in phytoplankton and light up when there is movement or are disrupted.
